Ramadan
As you may already know, Ramadan started today. Ramadan is the Islamic holy month, when most Muslims abstain from eating and drinking during daylight hours, as a means of humbling themsleves before God and concentrating on prayer.
Although I don't agree with a lot of Islamic beliefs, I've also decided to fast for Ramadan. I figure that there'll be a lot of Muslims praying for Christians and other non-Muslims, out of genuine concernfor us, and that if we [Christians] are genuinely concerned for non-Christians, then we should also be praying for them. I'll also be praying for a deeper understanding between Christians and Muslims, and an end to the War on/of Terror.
