The Poor Clares are an Irish order of nuns who live on the remote Nuns' Island.
Sister Louis, abbess of Poor Clare Monastery, says, 'In a world overshadowed by consumerism, where despair has become prevalent, we want to offer this message of hope based on Gospel values.'
However, this is a bit hard when you can only speak to outsiders though a grilled window. They're attempting to get around this problem by launching a website.
